REFERRERS

Thank you for referring your patient to Sydney Psychogeriatric Clinic. The following is an outline of the referral process.

STEP 1

Referral letter

Please kindly forward through a referral letter for your patient.

Referrals may be addressed to:

  • ‘Sydney Psychogeriatric Clinic’; or
  • A specific psychiatrist of your choice.

Referrals may be sent via:

 

STEP 2

Triage

All referrals will be reviewed by a psychiatrist within 72 hours and triaged based on clinical need.

During this process, the patient may be contacted to procure additional information regarding the referral.

STEP 3

Patient Contact

Patients will be contacted by clinic staff to schedule an appointment time.
